I told myself 20 times, that before I write a post about these 2 clubs, I’ll tell you about softer places to start the night in telaviv, but, since I’m so hung over, I’ll just tell you all about Karlibach Street…
First of all, Karlibach Street has a lot more than these 2 clubs, it has about 5-7, but we are not here to talk about everything, Just the best.
So, since I went to the zizi club first ill start from telling about it..
ZIZI CLUB:
The zizi is a fun place to get crazy, on Fridays it holds the city’s most famous gay party’s called PAG and on Thursdays its straight night.
The place has great energy and usually plays electro music, but from time to time has a smaller room playing HipHop and Funk music..
What’s great about the ZIZI is that no matter how dark, bright, straight, gay the place is, theirs just something there that makes you dance! I am not a dancer, never liked it, but every time I’m there, I use the dance floor.
CAT AND DOG CLUB:
The Cat and Dog club, might seem the same for the untrained eye, but this is far from the truth, the place is a lot heavier and the crowd is different.
It’s a bit harder to get inside the Cat and Dog so try not to get there as a group of guys, in this club is all about the ladies, so if you a group of girls, or if you have some lady friends, bring them along, it will help.
The music here too is Electro most of the time, usually same deal all weekend long but, there is DJ live shows from time to time making the party inside a lot bigger. The crowd inside is what we call in Israel: “karachana” crowd, which means people that don’t play games, they’re here to “Consume” a great night, and they will at all costs, Even if it means that they will never get out of that bathroom booth 
Remember these places are open most night so, start the evening somewhere else and try to come to Karlibach street only around 1am.
