Rothschild 12, Great Place with a great Tel-Aviv Vibe!

Just as I and 2 friends got of the Taxi in Rothschild Avenue one of my friends said “wow this place is packed, I was sure all the city’s people are home like me, watching TV”. Tel-Aviv, as always was packed, and it was Sunday night!

(Israeli’s work Sundays, so that makes it the first day of the week, so if you hate Mondays, We Isrealis hate…..Sundays!)

So How’s the Rothschild 12 Like?

We walked on the Avenue Until we almost got to Herzel street, Just before we got to Herzel street we stopped at Rothschild 12, that looks like a totally destroyed and wrecked down old building with a quiet coffee shop in front of it.

However, if you walk inside that cafe and through it, or walk around the back of the building you’ll discover that there is one of the cities coolest bar’s – Rothschild 12.

The place had a killer vibe and also a great design, with a big table right in the middle of the place that kind of makes people sit together and mix.

The DJ was great and we got drunk, at around 11pm a band went up, they were as we say in Tel-Aviv sababa. (cool, nice, all right)

After the show, we walked back home on the avenue still drunk, and told ourselves we should go out on Sundays more. 🙂

Drunken night’s at the Barbunia Bar, Ben Yehuda, Tel-Aviv

The thing about the Barbunia is that for most people and especially the tourists, its the big simple restaurant that serves great salads and fresh fish, but this post is about the Barbunia Bar, on the other side of the road….

Yes it smells like hash!

The Barbunia Bar is one of those spots in the city that has a free spirit, and you won’t see people getting tickets because of smoking cigarettes, (yes we have that in Tel-Aviv as well :-() and you can even see a 54 year old dude rolling a joint with a few 23 years old waitresses..

If you have a problem with tight places filled with loud drunk people that are looking for someone to roll a joint with, then stick to the restaurant. However, if you wanna get a taste of the old Tel-Aviv, The bar is just for you!

Another small shot session at the Barbonia!!

A few days ago we celebrated a birthday to a friend there, and it was a classical night at the Barbunia, we arrived, chowed down some great seafood and salads, got drunk from pure Vodka and got very load around our table!

Pictures of friends around the Bar!!

friends pictures hanging on the Barbunia Bar

From a night of just showing up to say “Mazal-Tov” it turned into a wild night of Huging Kissing and a bit of Face slaping..Woke up a day after with a headake and declered the Barbunia a great place once again!

Lala Land Beach on the Boardwalk, Tel-Aviv

What’s great about the Lala Land is that in the summer time it’s full of tourists, so if you’re on your way to Tel-Aviv, this would be a terrific spot to meet up other travels in Israel and get some info, Tips and have fun together.

The Lala is Preaty much the biggest beach on the Boardwalk and has endless chairs and beds to lay around in the sun, it also has a nice restaurant and cafe for evenings and sunset time.
If you are in Tel-Aviv on a business trip, the Lala Land has free Wi-FI so you can catch up on your Emails while checking out the beautiful beach at morning time..

Block Club – Tel Aviv, Underground at its Best!

I love the block! I go there almost every chance I get and its not a lot, My friends normally go to other places that are more mainstream, and I always try to pull them over there!

What’s great about the Block club is that it holds big parties like DJ Vadim, and at the same time has smaller parties like the James Brown Tribute and both parties are just Fantastic..

Whether if its International DJ’s or just pass time parties, the Block has a great vibe and a young outgoing crowd that makes you smile at the minute you step inside the place..

The big news that came out lately is that there is a main road being built in the place that the block is located and the place is about to close 🙁 hopefully, there will be a new location very soon, and I will notify about it very soon!
